For Autistic People Seeking Mental Health Support

Getting the most out of counselling
Ideas to help you get the most out of counselling, as well as general information about what counselling is and what to expect.

We have published a report on counselling experiences of autistic adults, which includes a list of recommendations for counsellors and other practitioners. It may also be helpful for autistic people and our supporters who wish to advocate for more appropriate support, or helpful accommodations.

The AMASE (Autistic Mutual Aid Society Edinburgh) site has some resources for autistic people and our supporters and allies, including a guide to how to support autistic people who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
