Support group for neurodivergent counselling trainees
*The most recent group has ended. I am currently taking a break and will announce any future dates here when they are decided.*
Description: I am looking for interested participants for a small facilitated support group which will run online across twelve 90min sessions, twice a month. The aim of the group is to provide a supportive and therapeutic space for trainees who find themselves in the minority in their counselling training because of being neurodivergent. There will be opportunities to discuss what you are learning in ways that take into account diversity and intersectionality, as well as generally a chance to share experiences around being different and the challenges that can bring up when going through counselling training. It is also a chance to connect with other trainees. This group is open to all trainees from all modalities, at all levels of training and study. The group will be between 5-8 members. It will take a little time to assemble a compatible group. Please get in touch (see bottom of page) for a chat with me and we can see if this might be a good fit for you. Fee: £20/session
